Terms of service
These terms apply to every order placed on www.lushchandeliers.co.uk. Please read them before you buy. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer under UK law.
1. Who we are
Lush Chandeliers is a trading name of Trueman's Online Brands Ltd, 213 Station Road, Birmingham B33 8BB ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at sales@lushchandeliers.co.uk or on 0121 285 9652.
2. Placing an order
When you place an order, we'll email you to confirm we've received it. This isn't yet acceptance. Your payment is pre-authorised while we check stock with our warehouse or supplier. The contract between us starts when we email you to say your order has been dispatched.
If we can't accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock, there's an obvious pricing or description error, or we suspect fraud, we'll tell you and release or refund any payment in full.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Standard delivery to mainland UK is free. We accept major debit and credit cards, PayPal and Klarna, and all payments are processed securely.
We work hard to keep prices and descriptions accurate. If we find an obvious pricing error after you've ordered, we'll contact you, and you can either go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Products
We sell genuine branded lighting and use the manufacturers' own images and specifications. Colours on screen and hand-applied finishes can vary slightly, and small differences in dimensions are normal for handmade and decorative lighting. If an exact match matters, please contact us before ordering.
All lighting should be installed by a qualified electrician in line with the manufacturer's instructions and current wiring regulations.
5. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only. We aim to deliver within 2–3 working days to mainland UK. Some areas, including the Scottish Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland and offshore islands, may cost extra and take longer, so we'll quote before dispatch.
If we're delayed by something outside our control, we'll let you know as soon as possible. If the delay is significant, you can cancel for a full refund. The goods become your responsibility once they're delivered to you or someone you've nominated. See our Delivery Information page for more.
6. Your right to cancel and returns
You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, and we extend this to 30 days for unwanted items. Full details, including how to return items and when you'll be refunded, are in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Faulty or damaged goods
We're required by law to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your item is faulty or arrives damaged, please contact us. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are explained in our Returns & Refunds policy.
Products also come with the manufacturer's warranty, typically 2 years and up to 5 years on many integrated LED lights. This is in addition to your legal rights.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that, but we're not responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.
We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.
We supply products for domestic and private use. If you buy for business purposes, we aren't liable for loss of profit, business or business opportunity.
We're not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
9. Events outside our control
We're not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we'll contact you as soon as possible, and you may cancel and receive a refund for anything you've paid for but not received.
10. Using our website
The content, images and design of this website belong to us or our licensors and suppliers, and may not be copied without permission. Our website may link to other sites that we don't control, and we're not responsible for their content.
11. Your personal information
We only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Other important terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest will still apply.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
